What to Expect in Life Coaching Sessions

Life Coaching sessions will be 50 minutes and conducted remotely via telehealth. Using our Patient Portal, you can rest assured your information is kept private and secure. Sessions are never recorded.

During the session, the doctor will ask you what you want to achieve in life, what areas you are unhappy with, and where you would like to see yourself in the future. Although a coach will work with you, it is up to you to challenge and reflect upon specific ideas to help you move forward with your life. You will never be forced to make any decisions you don’t feel comfortable with. All sessions will be confidential, allowing you to explore your thoughts and feelings privately in a safe space.

Functional Medicine Solutions Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a partnership between you and your coach. The coach is licensed and experienced to gently encourage you to explore positive changes based on your aspirations. The coach will also offer support and feedback to help you focus on your goals. They will provide tools and set tasks with objectives to work on between sessions. Life coaching is an ongoing process. Follow-up sessions are focused on assessing progress, strengths, and barriers. Multiple sessions are best for experiencing positive life transformations.

By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to face challenges and overcome barriers confidently.

 

A coach won’t tell you what to do. Instead, they will use questioning techniques to help you uncover the answers yourself. They’ll also provide an objective and empowering environment to explore any challenges you face.

 

At the heart of it, all lies the idea that clients must be given the power to help themselves. Offering advice, opinions, and judgments would undermine some of the basic principles behind life coaching.
